CPR is not just a safety measure at work. Take example from the St. George’s School in Montreal, where CPR is now being taught to teens. They implemented this mandatory CPR training to their students, following an instance where a student nearly lost his life.
During a baseball game two years ago, a student suffered cardiac arrest on the school’s baseball field. Luckily our company’s president, Robert Sibthrope, was at the scene and was able to perform CPR instantly which lead to the boy being safely brought back to consciousness.
“According to experts, during a cardiac episode, the chances of survival reduce by 10 per cent with every minute that CPR is delayed.”
