Can you believe it after the devastating destruction of the Cathedral in Christchurch (New Zealand) in Fed 2012, Sigeru Ban plans Pioneer the “emergency architecture” of a new structure due to be finished in April 2013. All this, using cardboard tubes and a frame structure!
Sigeru started his work in the mid 1990’s erecting temporary shelters for Africans. Just think of all the areas that could be helped using this kind of innovative architecture.
