Most damage caused to a product is due to movement in the box not from external forces outside the box. It is what is inside the pack that counts! It is important to create an insert or cushion that does not allow any movement at all in the box. Even if you have to stuff the box with filler or bubble, it is better than leaving your product loose in the box. The best solution is to customize your insert using PE, PU foam or corrugated inserts. So, if you have a repeat item, think custom insert-you will save money on your packaging and you will have less damage, therefore less return.
