The training continues here at Lovepac! My second day on the road really gave me a chance to get a clear understanding of the day to day activities of a sales rep. At the end of the day this is all about building relationships and providing solutions to the clients. The relationships are really the bedrock of our business. By taking the time to get to know our client and their needs we are ensuring that we can properly help them!
The great thing for me is we are often supporting home grown Canadian companies compete in an increasingly global marketplace. When a Canadian company designs and manufacturers a $5000 scanner it is incredibly important that it arrives in one piece and ready for use! It is not only an incredible waste but also very bad for the bottom line when products are returned to the manufacturer. By providing solutions to our clients for their packaging needs we are helping to ensure their ability to compete in the global marketplace.
